My family consists of my husband Daren, my daughter Courtney, my son Duncan (my children are from my previous marriage), and my 7 cats.

Daren and I met online while I was going through my divorce.  We talked through chat, e-mail, and on the phone daily.  We found that we had so much in common.  When he finally was able to come and visit in person, we knew for certain that we were meant for each other.  Our marriage is a partnership.  For me that was such a blessing.  I wasn't just "the perfect little wife" I was a partner.  I can not imagine my life with out Daren in it, he manages to bring out the best in me.  He loves to write and has a book that he is writing that is found on the web.  A link to it is under my favorites.

Courtney is my daughter. She is among the working class and loves her job.  There have been many changes in her life the past year and she has become a remarkable young woman as a result. It scares me sometimes how much she is like me.  Not only was she cursed to look just like her mother, but she also has a lot of the same interests.  She enjoys reading, writing, and drawing.  She also has her own web page which can be found under my Favorites

My son is Duncan .  He enjoys reading and the outdoors.  He is the scientist and mathematician of the house.  He will take things apart to figure out how they work.  I have lost count of how many broken computer parts and phones he and Daren have taken apart.  He goes to Texas A & M and is majoring in Ocean engineering.  When he decides he wants to do something he sticks at it until he has accomplished it

I also have 7 cats.  Miss Shadow, Oreo-Cookie, and Pandie-Bear were from litters my daughter's farm cat, Duchess.  Peachie-Pooh came from the human society.  Nefie is our loveable gargage can kitty.  She was a stray wandering around our apartment who we gave a home. Precious joined us when we bought our house.  Pixie caught our hearts on Mother's Day.
