For Daren
I was lost within
myself,
Not knowing who I was.
Trying to live a life
that wasn't me.
Then along came you.
A missing part of myself.
Now everything made
sense.
No longer was I lost.
I know now who I am.
I know the life I am to
live.
I can now be the many
parts of me.
The tender and innocent
me,
The wicked and the wild.
I can be as strong as I
need,
Or as insecure as ever.
All are a part of me.
I know that you are
always there,
Standing right beside me,
Loving me regardlessly.
For our hearts are
joined,
Our lives connected
forever.
You are my present and my
future,
The missing part of my
past.
You are my best friend,
my lover,
My dreams come to life.
