Sunsets are beautiful to look at with all the colors.  But why do we have all those gorgeous colors?

As the sun sits lower in the sky, sunlight enters the atmosphere at a lower angle. This causes the light to have to pass through more of the atmosphere before we see it  causing the longer wavelengths of light, the yellows, oranges, and reds, to be what we see.

No matter how they are formed sunsets are beautiful to look at.
